Pastoral landscape with a shepherd resting on a small mound at centre while in conversation with another standing shepherd, two cows at left, mountains in distance.
Engraved by Joseph Clayton Bentley (1809 – 1851). Joseph Clayton Bentley was a line engraver, aquatinter, landscape painter and watercolourist.
From a painting by Aelbert Cuyp (1620 – 1691). Aelbert Cuyp was a painter of mainly landscapes and cows.
