Original 1883 9 5/8 inch x 6 1/4 inch Lithograph titled ACCIPITRES:
- 4. Falco berigora. Cream Bellied Falcon
- 5. Gypaetus barbatus. Lammergeier or Bearded Eagle
- 6. Spizaetus bellicosus. Martial Eagle
Accipitres: An obsolete order that includes rapacious birds, and now forms part of the Accipitriformes. They have a hooked bill, and sharp, strongly curved talons. There are three families, represented by the vultures, the falcons or hawks, and the owls.
