Original 1832 12 inch x 9 inch Mezzotint titled AGNES
A young woman in Victorian dress, shown three-quarters length seated in a high-backed chair to right, smiling towards the viewer, holding a cloth in her lap, her arms loosely folded.
Print by John Charles Bromley (1795 – 1839). Son of prominent engraver William Bromley. Exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1827 and 1829.
From a painting by Henry Liverseege (1803 – 1832). An English genre painter of literary and folklore subjects.
