Statue of Prince Albert, seated with left leg resting on a footstool, wearing collar and robes of the Order of the Garter, holding a book in his left hand with an image of the Great Exhibition on its cover.
Print by William Callio Roffe (1817 – c.1894). Engraver, typically after the work of sculptors.
After the sculpture by John Henry Foley (1818 – 1874). John Henry Foley RA was an Irish sculptor, working in London. He is best known for his statues of Daniel O’Connell in Dublin and of Prince Albert for the Albert Memorial in London.
