Amy Dudley (née Robsart) (1532 – 1560) was the first wife of Lord Robert Dudley, favourite of Elizabeth I of England.
Engraved by William Henry Mote (1803 – 1871). He was an English stipple and line engraver, primarily known for his portraits. He produced etchings for reference books, as well as original etchings. Mote became a member of the Royal Academy in his twenties and his portraits hang in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
From a picture by John Hayter (1800 – 1895). John Hayter RA was an English portrait painter who was Painter-in-Ordinary to Queen Victoria, whom he first painted when she was 12 years old.
