Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1964 Duncan Wood Comedy THE BARGEE, written by Ray Galton & Alan Simpson and starring Harry H. Corbett, Hugh Griffith, Eric Sykes, Julia Foster, Ronnie Barker, Eric Barker, Derek Nimmo and Miriam Karlin.

After a lock-keeper entrusts his daughter to a canal Casanova, he is shocked to learn that she is pregnant. He then refuses to open his locks – causing barges to pile up in every direction until the guilty party confesses.
