Original British 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1956 Joshua Logan Romantic Comedy BUS STOP, based on the play by William Inge and starring Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray, Arthur O’Connell, Betty Field, Eileen Heckart, Robert Bray and Hope Lange.

A naive but stubborn cowboy falls in love with a saloon singer and tries to take her away against her will to get married and live on his ranch in Montana.

On the reverse is a 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for for the 1955 Roberto Gavaldón Walt Disney Drama THE LITTLEST OUTLAW, based on a story by Larry Lansburgh and starring Armendariz, Joseph Calleia, Rodolfo Acosta, Andres Velasquez and Laila Maley.

A little boy runs away with a star jumping horse after the horse is abused.

The poster artwork is by A. “Jock” W. Hinchliffe.
Hinchliffe was born in Perth, Scotland. In 1953 he had a studio in Chalk Farm, North London, where he produced a series of six oil paintings as publicity for 20th Century Fox’s “The Robe”. He had been engaged by Fox in 1926 and produced posters and ads continuously for them, and for Disney, well into the 1960s.

The Advertisement is in very good condition.
