Original British 17 inch x 22 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly with an extra page for the 1940 Pen Tennyson Ealing Studios War Film CONVOY starring Clive Brook, John Clements, Edward Chapman, Judy Campbell, Penelope Dudley-Ward, Edward Rigby, Allan Jeayes, Michael Wilding, Harold Warrender, David Hutcheson, George Carney, Charles Farrell, John Laurie, George Benson, Hay Petrie, Mervyn Johns, Albert Lieven, John Wengraf, Edward Lexy, John Glyn-Jones, Patrick Holt and Stewart Granger.

Stiff-lipped sterling account of life at sea, in which Lieven’s German battleship menaces a British convoy coming back from Norway. Pen Tennyson had joined the navy as a lieutenant at the age of 23 and was about to take charge of the Admiralty’s Educational Film Unit. On 7 July 1941 he was flying from Shetland to the naval base at Rosyth in a small Fleet Air Arm plane when it crashed, killing all those on board.

The Advertisement is in very good condition with one vertical centre fold.
