Original 9 3/4 inch x 7 3/4 inch Portrait of MAI ZETTERLING in the 1947 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Drama FRIEDA

Anti-German prejudice nearly scuppers the new marriage of a returned Prisoner of War (David Farrar) who brings home the girl who helped him to escape (Mai Zetterling). A fervent Nazi brother-in-law (Albert Lieven)does not help, and the husband is too ready to believe the worst in his wife.

The portrait is in very good condition with slight warping at the right.
