View with the tower of Christ Church Cathedral on the left, Tom Tower beyond, seen between trees across the green in front of Corpus Christi.

Drawn and engraved by John Henry Le Keux, Durham (1812 – 1896). John Henry Le Keux was an English architectural engraver and draughtsman. The son of John Le Keux, he was born in London and studied under James Basire III. He then worked for a time as assistant to his father. Between 1853 and 1865 Le Keux exhibited architectural drawings at the Royal Academy.

The engraving is in good condition with 2 inch tear at the top edge, a short tear at the right edge and general age-related toning and minor defects from handling. It has been mounted on thin card.
