Original Czech 11 inch x 16 inch Poster for the 1982 Richard Attenborough Drama GANDHI starring Ben Kingsley, Candice Bergen, Edward Fox, John Gielgud, John Mills and Martin Sheen.

The life of the lawyer who became the famed leader of the Indian revolts against the British rule through his philosophy of nonviolent protest.

Poster art by Karel Teissig (1925 – 2000). Painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He studied at the school of painting of the Association of Visual Arts Mánes in Prague (1943-1945), the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1945-1950) and the Académie Royal des Beaux-Arts in Brusseles (1948). Between 1959 and 1989 he produced eighty-two film posters.

The poster is in fine folded condition.
