Original 1850s 10 3/4 inch x 7 1/4 inch Engraving titled THE GREEK PATRIARCH OF CONSTANTINOPLE, 18th CENTURY.
Engraved by Charles Holl (1820 – 1882). Stipple engraver born at London, son of William and brother of Francis, William the Younger and Benjamin Holl. Was noted for his engraved portraits after Romney; exhibited at the RA in 1874.
After Bernard Picart (1673 – 1733). A French Painter, draughtsman, engraver, illustrator, in Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam. Son of engraver Etienne Picart.
