LADYKILLERS
£160.00
Original British 9 1/2 inch x 7 1/2 inch Still of CECIL PARKER & HERBERT LOM in the 1955 Alexander Mackendrick Classic Ealing Studios Comedy THE LADYKILLERS, written by William Rose.
Location shows the cutting from the Copenhagen Tunnel. The Copenhagen Tunnel is a set of three parallel railway tunnels carrying the main line tracks out of London’s King’s Cross terminus under the rising ground at Barnsbury, about a mile north of the station.
Ealing’s last comic masterpiece, in which a gang of ill-matched bankroll thieves lodge in a genteel house near King’s Cross railway station, to be thwarted by their aged innocent landlady (Katie Johnson), and meet sudden ends.
The still is in very good condition with minor surface marks with a snipe tacked to the reverse
