Original British 17 inch x 11 inch double-sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1943 Harry Watt Ealing Studios War Movie NINE MEN, based on a story by Gerald Kersh and starring Jack Lambert, Gordon Jackson, Frederick Piper, Grant Sutherland, Bill Blewett, Eric Micklewood, John Varley, Richard Wilkinson and Jack Horsman, with support from The South Wales Borderers and London Irish Rifles.
Harry Watt’s first film at Ealing Studios is an incident in the North African war which he filmed for a mere £20,000, with Margam Sands in South Wales standing in for the North African desert.
