Original British 9 1/2 inch x 8 inch Portrait of RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH in the 1955 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Drama THE SHIP THAT DIED OF SHAME, based on the novel by Nicholas Monsarrat.

Text on reverse: Richard Attenborough as he appears in the role of George Hoskins, ex-naval officer who buys his war-time motor gun boat and uses it for somewhat nefarious peace- time activities, in the Michael Balcon-Ealing Studios film based on the Nicholas Monsarrat short story ”THE SHIP THAT DIED OF SHAME” , directed by Basil Dearden.
