Original Argentine 29 inch x 43 inch Poster for the 1951 Ingmar Bergman Drama SUMMER INTERLUDE (SOMMARLEK) starring Maj-Britt Nilsson, Birger Malmsten, Alf Kjellin, Annalisa Ericsson, Georg Funkguist, Stig Olin, Mimi Pollak and the Royal Stockholm Opera Ballet.

Maj-Britt Nilsson is an accomplished ballet dancer haunted by her tragic youthful affair with a shy, handsome student (Birger Malmsten). Her memories of the sunny, rocky shores of Stockholm’s outer archipelago mingle with scenes from her gloomy present, most of them set in the dark backstage environs of the theatre where she works.

The poster is in very good folded condition. There are extra fold lines about 1 inch in on all sides. There is a small hole dead centre. There are other minor faults.
