Original 9 3/4 inch x 7 3/4 inch Still of JOAN GREENWOOD & BRUCE SETON in the 1949 Alexander Mackendrick Ealing Studios Comedy WHISKY GALORE!, based on the novel by Compton Mackenzie.

Suffering from a wartime shortage of whisky, the inhabitants of the remote Scottish island of Todday take advantage when a freighter, the SS Politician, laden with whisky is wrecked off their coast.

The still, removed from the original key book, is in very good condition with a ‘REFERENCE ONLY’ ink stamp at cenre left and minor surface marks.
