Original 1831 11 7/8 inch x 9 inch Engraving titled WOODEN GABLE: FROM BAYLEY LANE, COVENTRY

Drawn by Benjamin Ferrey architect (1810 – 1880), and pupil to Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin (1812 – 1852).

Printed by Charles Joseph Hullmandel (1789 – 1850). Major lithographic printer and publisher in London, where born to French parents, and trained as an artist. Met Senefelder in Munich in 1817, opened press in London in 1818. Responsible for numerous technical developments, including lithotint and colour printing.

Published in March 1831 by Augstus Pugin, 105 Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury, London

The engraving is in very good condition with general age-related foxing and minor defects from handling.
