Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1977 Coluche & Marc Monnet Comedy YOU WON’T HAVE ALSACE-LORRAINE (VOUS N’AUREZ PAS L’ALSACE ET LA LORRAINE) starring Coluche, Gérard Lanvin and Anémone with music by Serge Gainsbourg.

Whilst King Gros Pif I amuses himself at debauched banquets, his unchivalrous musketeers pursue their tax-collecting duties with a malicious zeal. Goaded by the court jester (who is also the Queen’s lover), the ministers decide to put an end to this regime and have the King locked up. Hearing the news, the famous Chevalier Blanc comes to his rescue. Aided by the knight and his cousin Lucienne, the King flees to Flanders, where he devises a scheme to win him back the throne of France…

Poster art by Rene Ferracci (1927 -1982). A French artistic director and poster designer. He is, with Clément Hurel, Boris Grinsson, Michel Landi and Jean Mascii, one of the most prolific creators of cinema posters in France in the second half of the 20th century.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a small piece out of the top left corner.
