Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1981 Ralph Bakshi Musical Animation AMERICAN POP starring Hilary Beane, Gene Borkan, Beatrice Colen, Frank DeKova, Ben Frommer, Jerry Holland, Roz Kelly, Amy Levitt, Jeffrey Lippa, Richard Moll, Lisa Jane Persky, Elsa Raven, Vincent Schiavelli, Richard Singer, Mews Small, Leonard Stone, Eric Taslitz, Ron Thompson and Lynda Wiesmeier.

The film is about four generations of a Russian Jewish family of musicians that parallels the history of American popular music in the 20th century. The majority of the film’s animation was completed through rotoscoping, a process in which live actors are filmed and the subsequent footage is used for animators to draw over.
