Margaret Sullavan (1909 – 1960) was an American stage and movie actress who made a great impact during her short career. She appeared in only 16 films, four of which were opposite a young James Stewart, and she took a cynical view of the Hollywood movie industry. She was nominated once for the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in ‘Three Comrades’ in 1938.

The portrait is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
