Original 9 1/8 inch x 7 1/4 inch Still of ARTHUR ASKEY & RICHARD MURDOCH in the 1941 Walter Forde Comedy THE GHOST TRAIN, based on the play by Arnold Ridley.

A group of travelers become stranded at Fal Vale railway junction, Truro, where they are torment by a spectral locomotive and the ghost of a deceased station master, or so it seems.

Text attached to reverse: THEY’RE BACK AGAIN! “Big-Hearted” Arthur Askey and “Stinker” Murdoch, most popular of all radio and screen comedians are at present busy at Shepherd’s Bush Studios on the Gaumont-British-Gainsborough film “THE GHOST TRAIN” adapted from the Arnold Ridley stage success.

The still is in good condition with a short tear at the top edge, a surface crease bottom right corner and slightly trimmed.
