Original 16 1/2 inch x 22 3/4 inch Engraving titled A WINTER WALK.

Engraved by Adolphe François Pannemaker (1822 – 1890). A pupil of the École Royale de Bruxelles. He went to Paris to finish his studies and lived there for 30 years. He began exhibiting at the Salon in 1855. He executed many wood engravings, illustrating diverse publications. Often worked with his son and pupil, Stéphane Pannemaker (1847-1930), especially on reproductions of Gustave Doré’s book illlustrations.
