Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1966 Stanley Donen Adventure ARABESQUE, based on the novel by Gordon Cotler and starring Gregory Peck, Sophia Loren, Alan Badel, Kieron Moore, Duncan Lamont and George Coulouris.

An American expert in hieroglyphics travels to Oxford to decipher a cryptic message. He soon discovers that the message is of great import to a series of foreign spies and Middle Eastern leaders and finds himself at the center of an international conspiracy in this espionage drama.

Poster art by Robert Edward McGinnis. McGinnis is an American artist and illustrator born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1926. McGinnis is known for his illustrations of more than 1,200 paperback book covers, and over 40 movie posters, including Breakfast at Tiffany’s (his first film poster assignment), Barbarella, and several James Bond and Matt Helm films.
