Original Argentine 29 inch x 43 inch Poster for the 1964 Jean-Luc Godard Crime Drama BAND A PART (BAND OF OUTSIDERS), based on the novel by Dolores Hitchens and starring Anna Karina, Claude Brasseur, Danièle Girard, Louisa Colpeyn, Chantal Darget, Sami Frey, Georges Staquet, Ernest Menzer and Jean-Claude Rémoleux.

Four years after Breathless, Jean-Luc Godard reimagined the gangster film even more radically with Band a Part. Two restless young men (Frey and Brasseur) enlist the object of both of their desires (Karina) to help them commit a robbery, in her own home. This audacious and wildly entertaining French New Wave gem is at once sentimental and lighthearted, effervescently romantic and melancholy, and it features some of Godard’s most memorable set pieces, including the headlong race through the Louvre and the inexorably cool Madison dance sequence.

The poster is in very good folded condition. There is slight ink writing bleed through in the yellow background.
