Batman must battle former district attorney Harvey Dent, who is now Two-Face and Edward Nygma, The Riddler with help from an amorous psychologist and a young circus acrobat who becomes his sidekick, Robin.
Poster art by John Alvin (1948 – 2008). John Alvin was a cinematic artist and painter who created artwork for more than 135 film campaigns over the span of three decades.
In the case of Joel Schumacher’s Batman Forever, Alvin based the poster art on photographs taken by Herb Ritts (1952 – 2002). Ritts was an American fashion photographer and director known for his photographs of celebrities, models, and other cultural figures. He took publicity portraits for Batman, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin which appeared on magazine covers and merchandise throughout the 1990s.
