Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1983 André Delvaux Drama BENVENUTA, based on the novel “La Confession anonyme” by Suzanne Lilar and starring Fanny Ardant, Vittorio Gassman, Françoise Fabian and Matthieu Carrière.

Jeanne, who once wrote a sensational love story of a young pianist on a concert tour of Italy where she meets a handsome older magistrate, now lives as a recluse in Ghent. She receives a visit from François, a young screenwriter adapting the story. He wants to fill out the script with details. Jeanne first refuses to identify herself with the main characters Benvenuta and Livio, whom she insists are purely fictional. But François is determined to find out the truth that lies beneath the fiction.
