BOYS IN BROWN

Original British 9 1/2 inch x 7 1/4 inch Still of RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH in the 1949 Montgomery Tully Reform school Drama BOYS IN BROWN, based on the play by Reginald Beckwith.

After driving a car in an unsuccessful smash and grab raid, Jackie Knowles (Attenborough) is chased by the police and finall captured.

Still by Harry Gillard. Gillard entered the film industry in July 1946 as a still-cameraman’s assistant to Wilfrid Newton at Denham Studios and Arthur Evans at Pinewood Studios and was stand-by still cameraman at both studios.

The still is in very good condition with a caption tacked to the reverse.
