Original British 17 inch x 22 inch Trade Advertisement removed from a British Film Trade Journal for the 1936 Hans Brahm (John Brahm) Drama BROKEN BLOSSOMS, adapted from “The Chink and the Child” by Thomas Burke and the 1919 film by D.W. Griffith and starring Emlyn Williams, Dolly Haas, Arthur Margetson, Gibb McLaughlin, Donald Calthrop, C.V. France, Basil Radford, Gibb McLaughlin, Kathleen Harrison, Jerry Verno and Edie Martin.
A Buddhist missionary travels from China to London. He meets and falls in love with a young girl in the slums of the East End but tragedy threatens when their relationship is discovered by the girl’s brutal father.
