Original 9 7/8 inch x 7 3/4 inch Portrait of DEREK BOND in the 1946 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Prisoner-of-War Film THE CAPTIVE HEART, based on an original story by Patrick Kirwan.

Shot in part in the British zone of Germany; time span 1940-45. A prisoner-of-war camp story with a typical Ealing/Dearden omnibus format, sketching in the past and subsequent fortunes of a set of inmates, as well as their group existence. Derek Bond plays Lieutenant Stephen Harley.

The portrait, removed from the original key book, is in very good condition with minor surface marks.
