Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement removed from a British Film Trade Journal for the 1936 Sinclair Hill Historical Drama THE CARDINAL, written by D.B. Wyndham-Lewis and starring Matheson Lang, June Duprez, Eric Portman and Robert Atkins.

The film depicts a power battle in Rome in 1570 between Giuliano de’ Medici and one of his rivals.
