From a picture by Anthony Vandyke Copley Fielding (1787 – 1855). Fielding was from a family of artists. He was named after the Flemish Baroque painter Anthony van Dyck. He specialised in large-scale watercolours, working closely with his father Nathan Fielding. He exhibited for the first time at the Society of Painters in Water-Colours in 1810.
