”A British submarine goes out from its base ship to patrol off Norway. For a fortnight nothing of importance happens. Then it fights a night gun duel with a U-boat, sinking it but receiving damage which keeps the British submarine on the surface after dawn. A German ‘plane attacks, but the submarine dives just in time to avoid the bombs. Then on the last day of patrol the submarine sights and sinks a floating dock, and, after harrowing waiting through heavy depth-charge attacks, returns to base.”
