Original 9 inch x 7 inch Portrait of CONRAD VEIDT in the 1937 Victor Saville Adventure DARK JOURNEY, based on a play by Lajos Biró.

Text on the reverse: CONRAD VEIDT as Baron Karl Marwitz. Ostencibly (sic) a cashiered German officer seeking refuge in neutral Stockholm, but really the head of Section Eight of the German Espionage System.

The portrait is in good condition with a few surface marks, bottom corner creases and slight wear along the top edge.
