Portrait by Angus McBean (1904 – 1990). Angus McBean was born in 1904 in Newbridge, Monmouthshire. He studied at Newport, and started as a full-time theatrical photographer in 1934, becoming noted for his individual approach to portraiture.
The portrait, on heavyweight paper, is in fine condition with the photographer’s stamp on the reverse.
