GAME IN THE MUSEUM

Original Hungarian 22 1/2 inch x 32 1/2 inch Poster for the 1965 Robert Ban Hungarian Drama GAME IN THE MUSEUM (JATEK A MUZEUMBAN), based on the novel by Tamás Huszty and starring Miklós Gábor, Mária Dallos, Gábor Dományházi, Péter Benkö, Gábor Mayer and Rita Békés.

Poster art by Sandor Ernyei (1924 – 2000). A Hungarian graphic artist, poster designer, university professor. Between 1946 and 1947 he was a student at the Hungarian College of Applied Arts. From 1948 to 1995 he was an exhibiting artist. In the 1960s, he was one of the innovators of poster art, using elements of Art Nouveau and pop art.

The poster is in very good folded condition but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
