Original Swedish 26 inch x 38 inch Poster for the 1938 Robert Z. Leonard Musical THE GIRL OF THE GOLDEN WEST, based on the play by David Belasco and starring Jeanette MacDonald, Nelson Eddy, Walter Pidgeon, Leo Carrillo, Buddy Ebsen, Ray Bolger and Leonard Penn.

A bandit disguises himself as an officer in an attempt to woo a saloon singer.

The poster art is by Gosta Åberg (1905 – 1981). Born in Stockholm, Åberg was a painter, cartoonist, sculptor and advertising artist specialising in film posters.

The poster is in very good unfolded condition. There is a small tear at the right edge.
