2 Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 3/8 inch Black and White Stills of SAM WANAMAKER & LEA PADOVANI in the 1947 Edward Dmytryk Drama GIVE US THIS DAY, based on the novel by Pietro Di Donato.
One of the few (if any at the time this film was made) films shot in England with New York City’s ‘Little Italy” as the locale. This was Edward Dmytryk’s first film after he had refused to tell a Congressional Committee whether or not he was, or had ever been, a member of the Communist Party.
The stills are in very good condition each with a credit list tacked to the reverse. One still has a small crease in the lower right corner
