A comedy of false pretences based on Robert Crichton’s bestselling biography of Ferdinand Waldo Demera, a cheat notorious for living in other people’s skins and getting away with it. Appearing in various disguises, Curtis gives a great performance as Demera, the criminal of heroic dimensions.
