Original Russian 1958 re-release 24 1/2 inch x 39 1/2 inch Poster for the 1940 Leonid Lukov Drama A GREAT LIFE (BOLSHAYA ZHIZN), based on the novel by Pavel Nilin and starring Boris Andreyev, Pyotr Alejnikov, Vera Shershnyova, Mark Bernes and Lavrenti Masokha.
The film received the Stalin award in 1939 and was devoted to work and life in the Donets coal basin in the Ukraine in the thirties.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a 2 inch tear at the top edge and minor wear along the vertical fold.
