Text attached to reverse: ”A GUARDSMAN’S CUP OF TEA”, a delightful comedy by Thomas Browne, is presented by Associated-Rediffusion in “Television Playhouse” on Friday January 23rd. In the story, Frankie (BARBARA SHELLEY), a glamorous engineering journalist, discovers that her Guards Officer boy-friend (BRIAN OULTON) has been playing her false. To get even with him, she starts a flirtation with a young Sergeant in the Guards (MICHAEL CRAIG) aided by her American friend (MARGOT GRAHAME). The play stars MICHAEL CRAIG, BARBARA SHELLEY, BRIAN OULTON, MARGOT GRAHAME & HARRY FOWLER.
Picture Shows:- MICHAEL CRAIG as Sergeant Charlie Palmer of the Windsor Guards, a role which he played both in Warrington and Worthing, with great success. This will be his “live” television play debut.
