5 Original 6 1/4 inch x 4 5/8 inch Stills of models used in the 1944 Basil Dearden Ealing Studios Fantasy THE HALFWAY HOUSE, suggested by the play “The Peaceful Inn” by Denis Ogden.
Ealing’s first foray into the occult, with a curious story about a bunch of travellers staying at an inn that was bombed of existaence a year earlier. Through contact with the strange landlord and his daughter, each makes some personal readjustment and goes away a changed person.
The stills, from the original key book, are in very good condition with minor surface marks.
