Original British 40 inch x 81 inch 3-Sheet Poster for the 1971 Peter Sasdy Hammer Horror Movie HANDS OF THE RIPPER, from an original story by Edward Spencer Shew and starring Angharad Rees, Eric Porter, Dora Bryan, Jane Merrow, Keith Bell, Derek Godfrey, Marjorie Rhodes and Norman Bird.

Beautiful but deadly Rees, after witnessing her father, Jack the Ripper, kill her mother, is forever destined to kill when she’s in a lover’s embrace. Psychiatrist Porter tries to cure her, but falls in love with her instead, with obvious results. A very well handled Hammer horror with excellent, creepy performances, fine pacing by director Sasdy, classy production design and an effective climax at St Paul’s. All this and more than a liberal dash of psychoanalysis make it one of the best Hammers of the 70s.
