Original 9 3/4 inch x 8 inch Portrait of CLAUDE HULBERT as Percy Thorne in the 1935 Monty Banks Comedy HELLO, SWEETHEART, based on the play The Butter and Egg Man by George S. Kaufman.
The plot concerns a poultry farmer who is persuaded to invest in a film company. He tries to interfere in the direction, is swindled and left in the lurch but eventually manages to turn the tables on his former associates.
The portrait is in good condition with the top border trimmed off and slight creasing in the bottom left corner.
