Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1983 John Mackenzie Thriller THE HONORARY CONSUL (BEYOND THE LIMIT), based on the novel by Graham Greene and starring Michael Caine, Richard Gere, Bob Hoskins, Elpidia Carrillo and Joaquim de Almeida.
Caine at his best and most convincing as a drunken British consul who befriends a Paraguayan doctor (Gere) practising in Argentina only to be cuckolded, betrayed and kidnapped by guerillas.
