Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1955 Daniel Mann Biopic I’LL CRY TOMORROW, based on the life of Lillian Roth and starring Susan Hayward, Richard Conte, Eddie Albert, Jo van Fleet, Don Taylor and Ray Danton.
Hayward won best actress award at Cannes and was Oscar-nominated for her rousing performance as Lillian Roth, the 1930s musical star who has husband problems and turns to the bottle. Hayward is outstanding both as a success and later when she hits Skid Row, and sings the classic Broadway songs in fine style (a surprise from a non-musical performer), while Van Fleet as her mother is just as compelling.
The poster is in very good folded condition with an extra vertical fold close to the centre fold.
