Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1984 Steven Spielberg Adventure INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM starring Harrison Ford, Kate Capshaw, Amrish Puri, Roshan Seth, Philip Stone, Jonathan Ke Quan and Dan Aykroyd.

In 1935, Indiana Jones arrives in India, still part of the British Empire, and is asked to find a mystical stone. He then stumbles upon a secret cult committing enslavement and human sacrifices in the catacombs of an ancient palace. .

Poster art by Michel Jouin (1936 – 2018). A French illustrator and poster designer. He started as a designer in advertising and became artistic director in several agencies. In the 1960s, he started publishing and, in the 80s, devoted himself to movie posters.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a short border tear at the right edge. The poster was folded again but the fold lines are very faint.
