English actress Isabel Jeans (1891 – 1985) was on the London stage from 1909, she also appeared in occasional British and American films, usually playing refined ladies, initially in leads and later character roles. Once married to Claude Rains then to playwright-screenwriter Gilbert Wakefield.

The portrait is in very good condition with a nick in the lower right edge. Reverse side blank.
