Original British 40 inch x 81 inch 3-Sheet Poster for the 1953 Harold French Comedy ISN’T LIFE WONDERFUL!, based on the novel ‘Uncle Willie and the Bicycle Shop’ by Brock Williams and starring Cecil Parker, Eileen Herlie, Donald Wolfit, Robert Urquhart, Eleanor Summerfield, Peter Asher, Dianne Foster, Russell Waters, Cecil Trouncer and Philip Stainton.
Indolent and alcoholic Uncle Willie (Wolfit) is the shame of his Edwardian family. When his brother-in-law becomes engaged to the daughter of a wealthy American banker the family decide that something needs to be done and buy him a bicycle shop, hoping – in vain as it turns out – that it will help him change his ways.
