Joan Barry is mostly remembered for her uncredited role as the voice of Anny Ondra in the 1929 Alfred Hitchcock first British Talkie Blackmail. She worked with him again in Rich and Strange (1931).
PROSCENIUM was a play written by Ivor Novello and ran at the Globe in 1933.

The portrait is in very good condition with masking lines and some touch up paint. There is a slight crease in the bottom left corner
